More and more, people long for character and a down-to-earth harmony and natural beauty. Or for less common ideas.

It is not surprising that wood captures people's hearts more than ever today. And that there are specialists who bring fine woods of the best quality into our rooms. Just like Scheucher.

One hundred years of experience and a never-ending passion for natural wood materials are the ground on which Styrian company Scheucher still stands today.

Scheucher specializes in the production of fine parquet flooring creations, and it‘s products are in worldwide demand:
High-quality wooden floors personify the cultivated flair of international hotel projects. They beautify elegant suites and lofts, restaurants and bars. And they give business and congress architecture an exquisite atmosphere.

In a world without borders, innumerable projects await their realization. New living spaces strive for solid foundations. Fundamentally natural. Scheucher parquet flooring.

1920 – 2020 : 100 YEARS OF SCHEUCHER

A wide arc spans from these international projects to the wooded home of Scheucher. In the green heart of Austria, community, work and joy are of equal and great importance. This is where our love for wood and for naturally grown values is firmly rooted.

Scheucher hardwood flooring is manufactured by a traditional family business, whose history began one hundred years ago...

The Styrian town Mettersdorf am Saßbach in Austria, the tranquil place where the original sawmill once stood, is where Scheucher remains located to this day.

And this is exactly where the traditionally grown family business has developed into one of the leading parquet manufacturers over the past 100 years, running one of the most modern parquet factories in Europe and employs about 245 people today.

Aspects like our craftsman's passion in perfection united with innovative thinking in harmony with nature help to create our elegant, multi-faceted parquet flooring that delights people throughout the world – from Europe and North America to Russia and Asia. The electricity required for our parquet production comes from our in-house photovoltaic roof system, which even exceeds our energy demands.
